The <strong>President will call each director\u2019s name<\/strong>, and the <strong>Secretary will record each vote<\/strong>. Please respond with <strong>\u2018aye\u2019 to approve, \u2018no\u2019 to oppose, or \u2018abstain\u2019<\/strong> if you choose not to vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1. Call to Order<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. Pledge of Allegiance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3. President\u2019s Remarks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dogs must be on a leash and all pet waste picked up (bylaws).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I was asked to mention that a resident has expressed concern that some items used during social hour were discarded; the activities group should <strong>communicate with members before removing or discarding items<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Voting clarification: if a director does not respond under Robert\u2019s Rules, it is counted as an <strong>abstention<\/strong>, not a \u2018no\u2019 vote.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Any member wishing to speak today is limited to 3 minutes per person and may speak only once per topic, no interrupting anybody that is talking and you must wait till the President recognizes you before you speak.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>6. Annual Budget<\/strong> \u2013 Board &amp; Member discussion with handouts to members \u2013 including proposed dues adjustment<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>President\u2019s note:<\/em> \u201cAs part of the proposed Annual Budget, the board will review a recommended adjustment to the dues for the upcoming year. We will discuss the proposal and take a roll-call vote once discussion is complete. Per our by-laws it states \u201cOnce budget is approved the monthly assessment maybe changed as deemed necessary by the Board of Directors, provided at least 60-day, notice is given to each member, together with a report as to the reasons for the change.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>c.
